Are Daemon players really looking for sympathy regarding the flamer nerf?
Are Daemon players really looking for sympathy regarding the flamer nerf?
As a Nurgle player, not really ... there goes my idea of a Tzeentch army tough. Oh well, my wallet will thank me.
As a side note, I guess the guys that make the ETC rulespack will have to revise their limit of max 6 Flamers per army ... but then I don't get the hate they have for Daemons of Tzeentch![]()
As you wish: Did GW's DoC Flamer nerf go too far?
I made one for the Soulgrinder, as well: Soulgrinders in Fantasy

Anyone knows anything about Hellflayer? As this is hell of a mystery still. How this contraption works and what is its cost?
On a models perspective. Not a fan of Nurgle stuff that much, so I include it in my army list if necessary. Will need to catch some old Nurglings on eBay. Tzeentch models, don't play with speciale characters, so I do not care about the blue scribes, still think they are somewhat funny. Screamers are just a little bit more wicked than previous versions, which is nice. Flamers - bleh, prefer old 5th ed. models. Slaanesh, here we have some total wickedness, which is nice IMO. Soulgrinder - always liked it, too bad GW went easiest possible way of introducing big monster in fantasy Daemons army.
Well thats my money gone for august then. I can finally add a Nurgle section to my Daemon collection. But while i like the kit, the Slaanesh chariots look like they are going to be an absolute **** to transport without breaking.

Damn I'm good, I guessed that from two half words from the video. Not that being right makes me particularly happy here...

But is it something to worry about? If it is just two smaller chariot kits in one box for the cost of two boxes then I'm not going to be bothered if it is limited run or not.
Does anyone know if the big chariot kit contains any sprues or finecast components or is the only advantage of buying the box getting the instructions for what is essentially a kitbash?
... and then I won.
Wait, I've missed something. What are they producing as a limited run?
The super big "exalted" slaanesh chariot.
I suppose the big kit comes with the right base. I'm going to have to try and find the right sized base for my soulgrinder too...
... and then I won.
can you include that super slanesh chariot in a fantasy army? will it come with a square/rectangle base?

I suspect the herald (I suppose it's an herald? anyway) is a finecast addon to the two normal kits. For the most part, recreating it should be easy enough. If my assumption about the herald is right, the only thing would be to find a suitable nette to act as the herald (converted Masque?). Then for Fantasy players, just grab an arachnarok base. The only real problem would be to find the "arach" version of the oval chariot base for the 40K player, but, well... it's their problem![]()

Do GW sell the arach or big oval bases seperately?
... and then I won.
DUnno, but the arach base, you can find it easily in any online bitz store. AFAIK, the big oval bases are new (granted, I'm no 40k specialist, but I've never seen them). So if the bigger one only comes with that exalted chariot, you won't find it in bitz stores either, or not for long at least.
