    Chaos tribes/culture/politics after GWAC

I was curious how the tribal boundaries changed after the Great War Against Chaos.
Were vast swathes of land free for land-grab by hungry warlords?
Was Asavar Kul still in charge of a lot of stuff after the war?
Were any new customs born from the Great War Against Chaos?

Sorry to be flooding the background forum with questions but I just don't know where to find all of this stuff to the detail I need.
I really appreciate all of the help everyone has been providing me.
    Thanks!

Yes, many tribes or the men of would have been wiped out leaving empty land for the surviving tribes to simply move in, conquor or enslave.

Asavar kul was killed in kislev i thought?? If not there would have been many warlirds happy to remove him and failing the chaos gods invites spawndom...

As for customs, they would vary from tribe to tribe, area to area and god to god. There would have after the war would have been one of appeasment to the gods and worship of those who may have ascended.

Your best bet would be to read liber chaotica as that would hold the most relevant info.

Asavar Kul was killed at the gates of Kislev by Magnus the Pious, yes.

Vanishingly little has been written on the Chaos-following tribes. The Norse have it better than most, but even the stuff on them is a bit thin. Your best bets are Liber Chaotica as mentioned above (although I don't think there's much in there), maybe Tome of Corruption if you can find it, and maybe Something Rotten in Kislev, if you ignore most of the stuff on Kislev since it's all changed.

Very helpful information, Thank you guys.

Also, excuse me if this is incorrect but, is the Asavar Kul in the new Defenders of Ulthuan and Sons of Ellyroin books not the same Asavar Kul that lead the invasion?

Edit; Wow, just re-read some stuff, I was having a derp moment, the guy from the books was Issyk Kul.

The new book Valkia the Bloody's quite good for Marauder culcture, quite a few tribes in there and it shows how the more warlike and more settled tribes interact, different ways of worshiping the gods, different ways of running/ruling a tribe, etc

I've not read Defenders of Ulthuan or Sons of Ellyrion but a number of BL novels are set around the time of the GWAC (the Tyrion and Teclis books, for instance) so it is probably the same one. If it's not the same one, then unless it has some plot significance (he's claiming to be the original AK's heir or the like) then that's just stupid on the part of the writer.
