Deathwatch kill team question

I am putting together a small space marine force to use as allies for my Sisters of Battle. Fluff wise I am making them a Deathwatch kill team led by a Librarian. My question is do DW Libby's keep their armor blue or make it black along with the rest of the team?

Black but potentially with blue markings such as the knee pads, shoulder rims, robes, etc.

If you go by the c.s.goto book (its a terrible read before you ask) the libby keeps its blue where as in the fantasy flight rpg book the libby is black with a blue arm or a piece of its armour blue.

Either or. They are Space Marines after-all, they can be as independent as they like. In the short stories however I believe the Librarian adopts the black scheme.

Here's a Storm Wardens Librarian in Deathwatch colours from the Deathwatch rulebook (pg.80), and an Ultramarine (pg.186).


The studio Deathwatch Librarian is in standard Deathwatch colours with a blue right shoulder pad - although this could be because he's an Ultramarine.

Its been a while since i've been here, so I too will add my .02

In the Case of Librarians, it should be no different than one wearing a Termie armor. The Crux Terminatus takes the spot where the book (the Libby's (i hate calling them that) icon) goes and instead replaces the Chapter icon with said book. Perhaps with the Deathwatch is the same. And the color? The previous post seems on target. I approve!
