    Imperial Guard 1500 Semi-Competitive 6th edition (opinions plz)

    40K Army: Imperial Guard
    Hey everyone, this is a list I've been working on for a while and I was hoping to hear some opinions and to get some help or tactics thrown around in the replies. I have yet to play my first 6th edition game and will be this week so I'm not sure how well this will play. The main tactics would be to hold up a spot in my deployment zone for the auto cannons and company command to use orders/protect the company command which is my warlord. Right now I know this list is below 1500 points because I have not finished working through it. Most people I haven't seen take storm troopers but I figured since they have "gets hot" anyways that I might as well give them plasma guns. I like that they can either grant the chimera outflank or infiltrate. Or at least I'm pretty sure that's how it used to work (granting dedicated transports the infiltrate or scout) Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways I look forward to the opinions thanks.

    1x Guardsmen Marbo 65pts

    2x StormTroops each with(5+sarge)(2 plasma)(chimera w 2x Heavy Flamer) 372pts

    Troop

    1x Infantry Platoon 290pts
    Including=
    1x Platoon Command(standard)
    2x Infantry squads (10each)(1 flamer each)
    2x Heavy weapons(3 each)(autocannons)

    1x Veteran Squad (3 meltas) 100pts

    Fast

    1x Vendetta 130pts

    Heavy

    2x Leman Russ each with (battle cannon, 3x Heavy flamers) 340pts

    Oops forgive the double post. Gah, I forgot to add in the 50 points Fortification for the command squad and the autocannons.

    How do you plan to use Marbo out of interest?

    Basically I just place marbo within demo charge throwing distance of a squad and I toss er. 80% of the time I make his points back so basically he suicide bombs. I usually aim for heavy infantry when he arrives from reserves but, hitting infantry is still effective.

    Try to hit multiple Vehicles with Marbos demo charge if they are clumped. they should have no cover if you place marbo the right way, and with S8 DS2 you really can wreck this vehicles
