Hey guys,

me and my team are hosting a 2000 point Fantasy tournament In Bradford,England on the 7th october 2012.

primarily to raise awareness of the Gaming Club Bradford but also to have a good laugh :P.


at the moment, the details are:

Address:Gumption Centre, Glyde House, Bradford centre (Opposite Ice rink)

Ticket Price: £10
Point limit: 2000
Rule set: 8th edition rules

Prizes: Cash Prize for the winner, Gw Products/vouchers for 2nd and 3rd place. (to be announced at a later date)

3 games per person.

Win = 2 Points
Draw = 1 Point
Loss = 0 Points

On the day, entrants will be requested to vote for the best painted army. In the result of tied positions after the three games these votes will determine the winners.

Missions
To determine the game played Roll a D6:

1: Battle line

-with the following changes:
there will be an objective scattered 3D6 from the center of the board. (re-roll if a hit is rolled) players recieve an extra 100 victory points for each unit above half strength that they have within 3" of it.
-no mysterious terrain

3: Battle for the pass

-with the following changes:

6: Watchtower
however, neither player begins the game with control of the watchtower. Roll off for first turn as per other missions

Random Events:
2D6 beginning of each game turn..only lasts that game turn

2-5 = nothing
6-7 = +1 on roll from now on
8-9 = charging on extra D6 discarding highest
10 = Leadership tests are taken on the units lowest value
11 = players receive +2 to cast spells
12 = All mages on the board suffer a miscast on a 6+. For each subsequent time this is rolled add a +1 modifier to the roll (so 5+ on the second time, 4+ on the third etc)
