as are the pathfinders! I just received mine in the mail and they are somewhat similar in appearance in that they all were hoods, but the detail and beards are very good. They also have different weaponry, some wear double handed axes, other crosbows. They all have backbacks with gear. can't wait to put them together :-)
Those guys would be awesome for Mordheim.
It seems to me to be the same Warcast material that my Ironshields were cast in. Felix did say he's experimenting with plastic for these dudes, but maybe this was a quick cast meant to supply the indiegogo backers.
They have absurdly long arms no? Seems they could touch the ground while standing.

To be honest, I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out. Proportion wise they seem very similar to the Ironshields and I haven't noticed it on them either. Personally I absolutely love 'em. They just scream "scout" to me, which was sorely lacking in my Dwarf army. The problem is that GW's infantry now looks pretty poor, leading to the unholy plan of selling all my GW plastics (not warmachines, I like those) and replacing them with AOW's stuff. Sucks about all the painting work wasted though....
Yeah.. the arms (on all resin/plastic) AoW miniatures are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long.
I still love the look of my ironshields.. but knowing that they look like monkeys.. not good![]()
So what is happening with all the older sculpts? They seem to have disappeared from their online store.

for what its worth: I realized that many of the dwarfs have bent legs as well, making the arms look relatively longer than they are (still long though, not arguing that)
