I may of thought it was the mutant sewer language from futurama but I am sure there has been worse.
Now What I am interested in has there been any word about a multi part character kit for chaos like there has been about brets?

Not according to the first page. More importantly, there are already rumors for the following plastic kits:
-Chariot
-Warshrine
-Dragon
-Dragon Ogres
-Forsaken/Chosen
-Marauders
I doubt we're getting that many, and I'd be even more surprised if anything else were added to the pile.
If folks could stop asking "Have there been any rumours about ....." If there had been that information would be in the first post along with everything else. I don't have some secret stash of rumours I am holding back just waiting until someone asks if there have been any rumours ...... Never mind.
There does seem way tooo much stuff in the first post.
Thats when you have to start looking at who is saying what.
When hastings gave us such a complete list early on I am regarding as supect anything from any source that is not on that list.
Hastings said Warshrine, Dragon ogres, Forsaken, something big and characters. He has since specified Throgg and Plastic chaos sorcerer.

Good morning, Harry.
Did he say "Forsaken/Chosen", or was the latter added by a different source?
First of all, thanks for the roundup, Harry. Much ap-pie-ciated.
Now, on the individual items:
Interesting bits. It's too early to tell whether all of this will be accurate. The stuff about Archaon seems very strange to me, given how much effort they're putting into forgetting SoC ever happened, and how awesome the Archaon mini is (more on that below).
This will be awesome if it happens. I can only hope that running a mono-Khorne list isn't dull.
I never cared for Krom much, but it would tie things neatly with the "post SoC and Archaon's resurgence" theme. On a bleh to BRING IT ON!!! scale I give it a "hmmm...".
Great. I can't wait to see this model. A definite BRING IT ON!!!
Much needed, and I love chariots. Again, a total BRING IT ON!!!
Should be cool. I give it a Niiice.
I'm hoping for Dragon Ogres and Brazen Knights. Of course, I don't expect to see the latter, but my conversion could use some rules
I would be (but happily surprised, so that's all cool)
Juggernaut-pulled chariots... Sounds expensive but quite powerful. I give it an Interesting...
So very necessary, and so cool sounding. Another BRING IT ON!!!
Even though converting the DElf dragon to use with WoC is pretty simple (I've done it myself), a new Chaos Dragon could be very, very cool, specially if it's more Baudros-like (as in, two full heads, instead of one head split into two).
Given how I already have 20 metal Chosen, plus another 20 Avatars of War warcast Warriors of the Apocalypse, I think I'm well-served. This kit could be really useful for conversion purposes, though. Add decent rules for forsaken, and we'll be talking. Ranges from Meh to Interesting...
Yes please. I've managed to combine the Marauder horsemen and Marauder kits to produce something decent to look at. That doesn't mean current maras aren't completely outdated. Another Niiice rating.
This sounds... Strange. Not gonna doubt your sources though, Harry. I give this a Huh? rating. It's so left field that it kind of baffles me.
I already spoke of the dragon earlier.
I don't like Finecast, but it's not like we can do anything about it. Decidedly on the Meh side of things.
This will be a finecast character, but hey, it's Throgg, so we forgive him for that. Solid Niiice rating from me.
It's not like we need more god-specific characters, to be honest. I won't complain if they come, but there are other things we could get more use of. A Meh from me.
This seems strange. The Archaon model is one of the best in the current range, and it's kind of a downer for those of us who have the limited edition on foot Archaon. Still, we'll have to wait and see how this dude looks, if he ever comes to pass. It kind of feels like one of the most unlikely rumours.
Another? Might this be the SoM sorcerer, with some late reverb? Or did you hear this post-SoM?
Already discussed in the previous thread about it.
Cool stuff. Valkia is an interesting character. It can be great, or it can look terrible. I'll wait and see. An Interesting... rating.
BRING IT ON!!! Wait, I think I already said that about this one
I concur.
Remarkable that the Storm of Chaos is being mentioned again. After 1 big rulebook and 5 armybooks where this event is ignored or at least described as not happened yet, suddenly including it like it has recently occurred could cause some background issues. For example, when exactly did Chaos conquer the Brass Keep? Is it not possible that Archaons background story simply details his rise to infamy up to the Storm of Chaos?
That said, I like the idea of the Germanic background to the northern tribes. Even followers of dark gods must have some kind of society where people live their lives.
A fictional character is never truly dead, because you always have the option to start reading a book from the beginning again and *bam* the character is alive again.
It's silly for players to restrict themselves to the end of the Warhammer timeline and it would be even sillier for GW to do so.

@harry , thanks for your great effort in all these threads, i try to follow them all but is it possible when editing your first post or adding new info, to put the newest rumours another textcolour?
It would make it very easy to follow updates. If getting all the info together is allready stressing your available time then please forget my comment, oh and dare i say BRING IT ON

I really want Kholek. I'd start a WOC army for him, but those rumors seem to have faded.

Because all chaos heros, sorcerers or not, know that cowardice is a direct ticket to spawndom in the eyes of the chaos gods.
Being reduced to hacked pieces of meat by fighting combat lords before they get to accomplish their god given tasks is an even more direct ticket to spawndom. It is a stupid rule, so no point in trying to dress it up with background justifications because they can work for both sides of the argument.
God, I NEED PICS NOW!!!! PLZ...
Sorcerers should be terrible enemies in a face to face anyway.... Thanks to magic. Too bad GW has always wanted to depict sorcerers in this way but have never provided rules so they can fight properly in melee (well i mean special rules not like in 4/5th where they all had the stats of a commander :P)
And that's why you put Sorcerers in units of Chaos Warriors with a Champion, whose job is to accept challenges ... rules-legal, even FAQed this way, and when a Warrior Champion of Khorne with a Halberd can dish out 4 attacks at I5 and S5 versus the two attacks at I4 and S4 of the Sorcerer, it's even logical ...
But enough rules discussion from me, this is a rumour thread![]()

Looks interesting so far, looking forward to it getting nearer the time and getting the obvious wishlisting trimmed away, there are still a few things that raise eyebrows in there. But even taking those few with a pinch of salt, it still looks like a fun update.
