    Lizardmen: Nanauatzin's Wroth

    Nanauatzin's Wroth

This is my blog for my burgeoning Lizardmen force. Please give me all the tips and feedback you can, I am always looking to improve.

Few men dare venture into the malefic thicket and boscage of Lustria. Even fewer are able to return.

One such fool became known as Tieont the Gloomist. Beset with greed, arrogance and hubris, this man sailed far and ventured deep into Lustria. Possessing wealth beyond imagination and an eery horde of companions, in a few short years he constructed a city of considerable size.

The city, name long lost to the annals, grew prosperous and powerful. Whispers spread across the Old World. Someone had conquered the mysterious lands of Lustria. Tieont's men were imperviable; to the rampant diseases, the vicious venoms and to the infamous fury of the old ones.

Yet, like all men who shine so brightly, Tieont was soon to reach his nemesis.

Deep in the undergrowth beneath his towering palace, creatures began to scurry. Red and yellow, they slithered and danced about, unbeknownst to the invaders. The servants of the Old Ones had awoken and they were angry.

Looks good. I like the colours that you've picked.

Thanks, it is good to paint something with brighter colours for once!

More stirs in the depths of Lustria's dense undergrowth..

Bases are unfinished right now - I want to do them for the whole unit at once and am testing out some options for jungle bases.

Ridiculously simply - boltgun metal/shining gold over white undercoat with a wash of devlan mud. As with pretty much everything in the army, the priority is reaching a decent standard so that I can play with them and be able to come back for more and better highlights.
