    Deamon Chariots and tactics

I play mostly a Daemon Prince army, but I was reading the chariot rules and now I am seriously considering running with chariots. In particularly I was thinking about Skull taker in a chariot, Doing a chariot sweep attack with his weapon then turning and charging a unit. With him he would make quick work of almost any small (troop) unit. Opinions welcomed. On what you think.

Currently I am running 2300 pt: (have won 5 of 5 games with this so far)
    HQ:
333 Fateweaver 333 (he flies with the princes, Vector strikes then flames)
270 Bloodthirster w/ Might (Tank hunter)
160 Skulltaker on Chariot (optional was thinking maybe switch him with defense line and quad gun)

    Heavy:
215 Daemon Prince Wings, MoT, U Str, Breath of Chaos (Flies with Fate, Vector Strike then flame)
215 Daemon Prince Wings, MoT, U Str, Breath of Chaos (Flies with Fate, Vector Strike then flame)
215 Daemon Prince Wings, MoT, U Str, Breath of Chaos (Flies with Fate, Vector Strike then flame)

160 Soul Grinder w/ Phlegm (my version of artillery, hangs back and blasts stuff to death)
160 Soul Grinder w/ Phlegm (my version of artillery, hangs back and blasts stuff to death)

    Elite:
105 3x Flammers (suicide squad, drop then near terminators flame them and then die)
105 3x Flammers (suicide squad, drop then near terminators flame them and then die)

    Troop:
85 5x Horrors (near enemy obj holder)
85 5x Horrors (near enemy obj holder)
75 5x Plague Bearers (long distance Obj holder)
112 8x Daemonettes (troops roams near my obj holders and attacks anything that gets too close)

    2295 Total

I have been running w/ the flying jerks tactic w/ breath of chaos right after we fly over them. I was also looking for opinions on what others are doing with their daemon armies and of course am I playing them right? As for Skulltaker as long I got the charge he has killed All troop units I have run him into so far. Should there be anything other then dreadnoughts that I should avoid, or should I take him out entirely?

Hate to burst your bubble, but the FAQs never gave the Daemon chariots the Chariot rules.

So even though in the codex it says he is on a chariot he does not count as being on one. That makes no sense.

Welcome to 6th edition. With new chariots of slaanesh about to come out and rumours of a pamphlet update to Daemon rules (not sure if both 40K and WFB but it would make sense) perhaps we'll see a change to the chariot rules.
    ... and then I won.

It's not 6th, welcome to games workshop. Logic plays absolutely no part in the rule design. Hell, at least now in 6th you can throw grenades and kill people with them...

Has the FOC changed? How are we allowed 5 Heavy choices? Has it went via fantasy with %?

why is no one talking about the new slaanesh chariots? how are people planning on using them? how are people planning on deep striking with their obnoxiously large bases?

Not really an issue if it's in your first wave. They are Fast and have Fleet. They can flat out 12" for better placement or bunker down behind cover the turn of arrival. (If you can get a 4+). After that, you have a 12" move and a charge with re-rolls. Their biggest obstacle is avoiding terrain when charging. That and scattering on terrain. Even in your second wave, just be smart with where you put it. They have amazing reach and don't need to be placed agressively. I have little positive comments about the 2HP chariots though. It's Exalted or bust. You're probably better off placing them in your second wave and let them arrive where combat has already started. Use an icon and drop.
