    Re: The tiny army

    Thank you for the comments.
The rams are from dwarf wars, and also the big ox. But it has left me with 16 mounted dwarfs that I have no idea what to do with. Dwarf wars has some good alternative dwarfs models.

And now something that's almost a must for a halfling army Kathleen halftank, when one of my friends saw the first halfling models he gave me his old metal stem tank. So here it is.

And a couple of more, trying to paint up some great weapon guys to use as greatswords for empire.

So bad lightning and no background. But this is on the workbench right now. My fifth ogre and a BSB for my vamps.
The ogre is almost finished but the bsb still needs a lot of work.
Going to take some better pictures of them when they are done.

So here is another wizard. When I play halflings I normally run a lv 4 with staff of sorcery and a lv 3. Halflings are cheap so it doesn't take much points and I can keep them in an archer bunker without much protection. The halfling book has a lot of special rules.

Let me know if I should write a few lines about the rules with the pictures.

    And two sheriffs(hero)

And from thebattleforge the Pie mortar.

So 5 more halflings done, and 5 more on the workbench almost completed.

Also here is the ogre in better light.

And something for my Brettonia army, Belladona to use as a Damsel. Love this model.

    Re: The tiny army

So a bit of rain and bad weather gives me more time to paint. Mostly rank and file and a character to my Brettonia, but he might get a game or to in my halfling army. Just need some fluff because i really like the model, and my brettonia is not getting a game right now.

So new unit, trying to go with great weapons. Getting some blue paint here and there to get them to stand out from the other units.

The sword broke of, so you can see my horrible skills with greenstuff.

    Re: The tiny army

So summer vacation is over, and with work is going to cut down my post to maybe one a week. Had little time this weekend but got one unit filler and two skirmish movement trays finished.

This one has been in a box for 10+ years. I am using it as a unit filler, might use it as something else in friendly fight.

Delightful! It's rare to find comedy (of the non-black variety) in Warhammer, but these Halflings look really fun. Well-painted, characterful, all the characteristics model armies should have. Kudos, Sir or Madam!

snyggejygge: Thank you, and you are welcome to a game if you live in stockholm, or just passing by.
Hideous loon: Thank you, and I am male (just feels wrong as a swede to call yourself Sir).

Back at work now and finished the first week. Haven't had much time to paint but got a few almost finished. Also picked a couple of old models of ebay that I am dying to put some paint on. Got an order from Warploque minis this week about 25 models. Don`t know yet if in get time to paint tomorrow might get a game instead.
Next post will probably be next weekend.

Standard for my archers and 2 musician a champion and another blue model for the great weapon unit.

Test models for my halberds unit, still a bit wet. Sorry for the bad picture.

These are great, you've painted them really well and your painting accentuates the models' character. These are awesome and I'm sorely tempted to buy some to add a little variety to my dwarf army. Keep up the good work.

    Re: The tiny army

So a slow halfling week. Me and my gaming group have decided that we are going to start some 40K armies, so I been painting up some Kroot and Tau.
I have never played or painted 40k so I really feel like a beginner. Not going to post them here, might start a 40k thread if I get some time over, we will see.
But one halfling hero has got some paint. And I said it before green stuff is not my thing.
But I had to try, had some lord of the ring dwarfs that I had no use for, and they have both great weapons and two one handed weapons, its hard to find halflings that have those options.
So shaved the beard and tried to sculpt a new face. They don't look good but I can hide them in a back rank.... maybe....
Also tried some mantic dwarfs that got a rough shave, im not even gonna post them they look bad. They look like a ogre got rough with some halfling housewifes and 9 months later....

    Re: The tiny army

So its time for another update, my jump in to 40K is taking some time from painting halflings. But I now have 500p of painted Tau so I am back painting halflings again.

Finished the halberds from warploque, and need more to finish the unit. But now I have turned to white knight and waiting for some more halfling halberds and hoping that they will look ok together. Will just have to wait and see.

And the unit as it stands until reinforcements arrive.

    Also some old GW halflings.

Superduper! The guy on the swan is hilarious!

I am rating this plog 5/5 if I ever figure out how to do that..
