    Would you agree with...?

    Hi guys!

With the new daemon plastic kits and expansion rules I'd would like to my old army back in the tables and give a rest for my dark eldars (not a long rest ).

So the thing is that I really love the concept and the rules for the Fiends of Slaanesh but I loathe both models and their switch to finecrap. I've been giving it some thought and I found two possible candidates to "count as". One is using the new Fenrisian wolves (same base size) converted a bit and with some nice and daemonic paint job, I'm not very sure about the size of the models and since is a "count as" I don't know if it would be allowed, hence my question to the community. The other option I have in mind is using dark eldar Fiends (the 3 nippled gorillas) which share both size and base size I believe, but again, shares the troublematic of the material (finecrap) and their cost with the FS, which could be dealt with but I rather go for the wolves. What do you think??

If you tell me what it is before the game and I'm not likely to confuse it with anything else in the army I really don't care what specific models you use. I'd prefer if it was something that made sense, but if you put a little effort into it almost anything goes.

If it fits the army, fine with me!
    Nemesis Doom Thumb - Castigator
Eldar Runes of Cheating - Cheeslord

A single candle that shows the way... RIP Brimstone.

The big things with conversions when playing strangers is to try and keep the dimensions roughly the same and to make it as clear as possible what the model represents. From the technical aspect you should definitely mount it on the same sized base. If you can get the conversion to the same height then that is perfect, but not always doable. How accurately the conversion represents the rules in question is always a matter of personal perspective so is harder to comment on. If you are in doubt of how closely your model represents the rules then bring an unpainted normal version so the person you are playing with can choose which to use to avoid confusion.
