Yeah, first, if youwant to put the second rune priest in a Rhino too you have one Grey Hunter too much.

Second, as they say Wolfguard with powerfist are dead since any Character model can duel them now, so either take an energy Weapon since you need your initiative 4 or give them TDA so someone with a standard energy sword is plinking off their armor just to get beaten up badly by the fist afterwards... But with the TDA you'd better take a pod then since rhinos and Termies is not so great...

I was thinking of putting both Rune Priests in the Long Fangs units.

Wouldn't the Wolf Guard with power fists at least have a chance of taking off a wound against a character? In that sense, wouldn't it make them slightly more effective before dying? Does an energy weapon stand a better chance of doing this?

I could make the WG terminators, but to do so I'd have to free up a lot of points and drop the GH packs to 8 so he could ride in the rhino with them. Think this is the way to go instead of power armor WG?

Not really. If you are fighting an enemy character with a power sword they will strike before you and since their weapon is AP3 they are more likely to kill you outright before you get to strike back. Only use fists on your wolf guard if there is another independent character already in the unit who has a power weapon that strikes in I order or if you are equiped with terminator armour.
