And now for something slightly different:

These are Crusaders (heavy infantry) from 15mm.co.uk - technically they are from their 6mm range, although they're rather tall for 6mm. Still, they are really nice, well-proportioned and excellently detailed for their size, and a bargain for the price.

@Fredmans - I can thoroughly recommend Mike's stuff, if you're into (or even just tentatively interested in) 6mm SF.

Well, now I'm really, really tempted to give it a go.

I'm assuming we can use any Mecha miniatures we want?

    Another base from 15mm.co.uk

I took this picture in my lunch hour at work, hence why it's not up to my usual standards.

These guys are light infantry. They have a nice paramilitary/riot police look to them that would suit a blue our urban camp theme, but I've already got a blue army, so these guys will get the red theme.

Here's a better shot of the light infantry, also with a second base, now. The guy at the back of the base on the left does, indeed, have a crest on his helmet. It's a bit silly-looking and spectacularly impractical in so many ways, but a jolly good way of easily designating a CHQ, so I left it there.

And here's the first finished platoon of heavy infantry (crusaders):

Any resemblance to Rogue Trader-era GW space marines is, I'm sure, entirely coincidental...

I really like your bases. At this scale it can be hard to get something that looks interesting and appropriately scaled, but I think you nailed it.
