The new rules for screamers give them a slash attack. Not specifically a shooting or close combat attack. Just...move over something and resolve D3 hits per screamer. So...can this be used against flyers?

Maybe, but you'll need a very tall base to move over most fliers.
"The pattern has repeated itself more times than you can fathom. Game companies rise, evolve, advance, and at the apex of their glory, they are extinguished. Bioware is not the first. By utilizing our funding, game companies develop along the paths we desire. They exist because we allow it, and they will end because we demand it."
That's not how it works, considering their bases aren't tall enough to move over anything taller than a Jokaero.
Anyway OP, I would have to read the rule itself, but if what you have said is the full of it, then I see no reason they can't hit flyers. Of course S5 won't hurt the big ones.
Yes, it can hit fliers. S4 versus side armor won't hurt anything but a Razorwing.
Figures....oh well. Just looking for some sort of anti-air for daemons. Thanks!

You're looking for anti-air with Daemons? Did you miss the multitude of FMCs?
how would FMC (I asume Flying Monstrous Creature) help against fliers? they have (as far as I know) neither skyfire or any rule that lets them assault fliers... or have I missed something?

Vector strike is hardly effective.
The debate about whether Unholy Might applies to Vector Strike notwithstanding, most of the time you're vector striking at S6, or S7/8 with a Thirster. S5 if you're talking Fatey or just stock DPs.
In short, vector strike is not going to bring down fliers in doves any time soon.

What about smash and armourbane? Pretty sure somthing like this might help bring down fliers.
Well I got this wrong.
