Given sketchy details on the HH they must have mentioned something else though during the run time?
Earlier on GW's website (uk) a brief post on what's new today showed up about more from the eye of terror coming from forge world. It was a vid of about 1:30 mins that was shown in the seminar, unfortunately it was locked n then gone. May have something to do with this, anybody got any details.
Didn't they just produce a series of books about the Badab War? There are factions other than Space Marines, guys.
Fantastic news - I've been hoping that Forge World would do another book about MEQ+IG vs MEQ+IG for years now, and but another series? This has me quivering in anticipation. I honestly do not know how I'm going to be able to wait for the release of this.

Necrons are getting Imperial Armour 12 sometime around Christmas, people have been wanting Primarch models for literally years, this series should be awesome

In all seriousness, what happened to the DE book? Or the Tzeentch/penal colony one that was rumoured to have pushed back the DE one? Not that I'm unhappy to see xenos getting a book, just surprised it is Necrons.
It must also be stated that Alan was adamant that these are a seperate series to Imperial Armor. He also stated that every major race will have their time to shine in the Imperial Armor series of books. Necrons are up next to the stage where they will be taking on the Death Korps of Krieg and the Minotaurs chapter.

The issue is that one (well, two) particular races get to shine in every IA book. Here's a crazy idea - how about a xenos vs. xenos book? Here's a couple of ideas:
1) The Octarius War - currently being fought between Orks and Tyranids, with the Eldar getting involved too. Also contains minor skirmishes with IG and SM to keep that crowd happy.
2) The renewed conflict between the Necrons and Eldar, now that the Necrons are awakening. Can also include DE as Necrons have limited access to the webway.
3) The Tau/DE super best friends alliance (which was actually a devious plot by the DE, which makes it okay) vs a Tyranid invasion. The DE forces were being run by Haemonculi covens (I think it was Urien itself) and the fluff features the creation of some horrific new pain engines.
