What do you guys think of the terminus est? I'm starting up a nurgle fleet/army and I think it would make a great flagship but is it too expensive for what it does?
It is fluffy, just watch incoming torpedoes.

I have only used the Terminus Est against Necron, due to the Necron's Critical Hit table structure. Any Crit roll of 2 --> 5 causes permanent damage to weapons systems, making them vulnerable to Hit and Run attacks. Since the Terminus Est can be staffed with CSM, and can launch nine Assault Boats in a single Shoot/Ordnance phase, all you need is a single assault to get through and you have permanently limited the attack capabilities of the Necron target, if not totally disabled all Particle Whip and Lightning Arc weapons (score of 5) of the target ship. To me, it's worth the cost just for this reason.

Wait. Really? Is that because their critical table doesn't include the words "until repaired" even though they don't say anything like "permanent" or "may not be repaired" either?
Is permanent damage really how others play necrons? I'm fairly doubtful that's RAI and I'd be surprised if it was considered RAW. On the other hand, screw the cheesy gits, right?!
it's a good linebreaker/fire magnet, but overpriced for competitive play but great fun if you like Nurgle stuff plus the model is pretty cool
As far as im concerned Necrons can repair the first 5, they are not permanente.
