I was playing a game with a buddy of mine. WoC (Me) and his Dwarves. Just 1500 points.

I have been scratch building a HellCannon from copper tubes and greenstuff. I'm rather proud of what I have done and wanted to field it.
My friend's dwarves were not to be trifled with that day though. Mowing down my guys left and right with bullets and organ guns, he didn't suffer a single misfire ( which is HIS best set of rolls in one game. )

The hell cannon simply did amazing. Out of 6 full turns. 5 direct hits, and one 2 inch deviation.

We figured it out that the hellcannon effectively wiped out about 600 points of dwarves in that game.

At the end of turn 6 all I had was my sorcerer hero (The General) hiding in a tower, and the hellcannon which he simply said. "I will let you keep that thing, because its not worth the loss of life to kill it."

I was so pleased that I hit every time so I wanted to share. But what about YOUR best dice run?

Mmh, I vaguely remember a game where I rolled about all my saves, no matter how improbable they were, but beyond that, I don't have anything that comes to mind.

I had a Mordheim game not too long ago where almost every hit scored a critical wound.

21 hits with 6th Ed Conflagration of Doom (where you roll off and if the caster wins the roll they add that number to the total hits, so I won 7 or 8 consecutive roll offs).

I also witnessed a 4th Ed 1200 point "shot of banishment" from a Hobgolbin Bolt Thrower that sniped the Undead general off his Zombie Dragon, collapsing that many points in one go.

I was once playing under the Lustria rules and rolled so many encounters that I managed to panic his whole army off the table before he got a turn.

Everytime my bloodletters land a killing blow on a pendant lord and he fails his save, I feel like I won the lottery.

Probably Thursday night when playing Exalted I got four 10's, two 8's and a 7 out of 8 D10's!

On topic it would have to be 7th ed when I got something absurd like 25 hits out of 30 skellington bowmen............

It averaged out as I ended up only scoring 5 wounds (of which 3 were saved) I'm sure the champion
of the Chaos chosen on the receiving end growled "Persian COWARDS"

when my paladin HKB'd my opponents treekin elder in a challenge and he had annoyance of netlings

obscenely lucky

also in 40k I made 24 3+ armour saves

My best dice roll was also the end of any kind of good or average rolling for me.

The year was 1998. The fifth edition of warhammer was going strong and my wood elves were fighting my friends warriors of chaos whom they had never defeated. It was turn 8 (as in those days we played to the death) and my wood elf lord with black amulet and bow of Loren was locked in combat with a unit of chaos knights And there was nothing Else on the field. My lord was on his last wound, but had successfully made three black amulet saves, killing three of the knights. My friend has a brilliant idea that since horses can't be attacked or wounded, he will only attack with the horses and therefore can't die from black amulet rebounded wounds. What followed was twenty rounds of the horses causing 2 wounds and my lord making both 4+ black amulet saves. Luck can only hold so long though and eventually one wound made it through.

To this day all my friends hold this up as the day my dice luck died. Wouldn't be so bad if I'd managed to win that battle...

About half way through 5th ed 40k, I was playing with my Deathwing against some Eldar. 3 Warwalkers, each with 2 scatter lasers, targeted a unit of 5 terminators, let rip with all they had and caused enough wounds to warrant me using two hands to roll the saves. Once the dust had settled my opponent and I checked through the dice, not a single terminator was harmed!

True the unit was eaten by some harlequins the very next turn but it was a beautiful moment, something that I have never experienced since!

Last edition a unit of dwarf warriors were getting slaughtered by wardancers. This was before step-up. I kept making my break tests, no matter how bad I lost by. The game ended with just a handful of dwarfs left (under a rank), but who still held their banner proudly. That saved me a few victory points, and it felt great.

Would have to be my Chaos Lord with Daemonsword in one game passed every single 6++ from his Daemonsword hitting him at S7-10. Something like a total of 7 saves that my Dwarven opponent simply stared on weary-eyed and broken as this lord chopped his way through almost a thousand points of Dwarves on his lonesome before overrunning after combat and taking a cannonball to the face that killed him in one--to this day I believe the cannonball was guided by Tzeentch such that, in an explosion of blood and gore, the Lord would ascend to the warp to stand at his side.

Yahtzee in first turn...Booyah!

Ended up rolling 3 extra yahtzee's that game.

Best was actually my opponent's rolling an 11 and another 11 to flee his slann-mage plus 30 Temple guard. Yeah on 3 die due to cold blooded as well. Worst die rolls for him, best for me. Then Flamed down the rest of his skink skirmishers. Pesky little things.

This is why I don't run death star's. Karma is a bitch when you try and munchkin your way through a tournament.

I played a 2,000 point game with my Skaven loaded with warmachines and weapon teams. We played 6 turns and I didn't have any misfires. On the last turn I used six dice to fire a ratling gun and there were no doubles in the roll.

Previous edition, fighting Chaos with Bretonnia. My opponent had me outmanouvered, he flankcharged with a unit of 3 Minotaurs against a block of Knights of the Realm. He did no wounds, I did one back and I broke him winning combat by one using a musician. I overran him right into the flank of his Chosen Knights of Chaos who got slaughterd. To tip it off my Trebuchet was dead on every turn even killing the Chaos Lord 15 inches away with a Lady blessed shot. Going to model a barrel of beer for them one day...
I was obscenely lucky lost 3 models of my entire army. Should have lost.

I got speed of light and timewarp on a bone giant that I'd just shoved into the back of a unit of Saurus. End result: 30-odd extremely unhappy lizards.
