Question is in the title. I know most GW stores don't but a few do and Mail Order does now, so wondering about WW.

Do you enjoy using WarSeer? Are you on here a lot?
Support the site by joining the Guild - 1 month option costs the same as a cup of coffee!
It used to be that the reason was that HSBC (then Midland Bank) charged far more in charges for processing AMEX than other credit cards.
My wife has her own business and doesn't accept AmEx because of the processing costs. I don't know the specifics, but they cream off a lot more than the others.

Yeah outside of the US
Amex sucks big time for most retailers.
Amex is relatively rare in Europe. So rare in fact that in the 8 years I have worked in a GW store I had only two customers ask if they could use Amex ever!
One customer was very upset (American tourist) but after I explained to him that the annual fee for AMeX was 400 euro's for retailers. And that he was the second customer ever to ask in 6 years, even he had to admit having AmEx would be silly.
Come have a look at the Void if you dare!Originally Posted by Bob Ross
