A lot of folks use medical gauze soaked in watered down pva glue. A cheap bandage should work fine for camo netting

I just use gauze and lots of drybrushing or large spots of colour, always seems to work well. The trick is to place it in a believable manner. It can also be used to hide a multitude of modelling sins!

Here it is on some of my guardsmen.

    And on my armour.

I use greenstuff. Its trickier but I prefer it over the gauze look. Works well for the hessan tape style of camo net.

1 : Roll greenstuff into a large sheet, about 0.5mm thick
2 : texture it by rolling the dimpled area of a knife handle over it
3 : drape over the tank where you need it
4 : Roll more greenstuff into a sheet
5 : cut into thin strips and cut the strips to the length you want
6 : go insane sticking them to the tanks
