    2000 tzeentch harass army

    Fantasy Army: BoC
    hlo all, names Keryso, and im started warhammer gain after about 5 years, and ive been making a dark elf army (havnt posted the army list, might do in the future)

    However after reading this month's white dwarf with the new deamons, i got really interested in tzeentch and wanted to make an army made of tzeentch units only.At first i wanted to make it a heavy support army (2 soulgrinders ) but then i chanced upon the blue scribes and the fact that each unit of pink horrors is a wizard.

    With that i decided to make a harass heavy army based on whittling down the enemy army before swarming them.

    Heres my list, hope you like it:

    how the army is supposed to work is that the blue scribes give me more power dice and during my magic phase, i just spam flickering fire with each of my units of horros while the flamers give supporting fire and screamers harass the ennemies back line

    the herald is there with the lore of death to assasinate leaders and big units and the unit with the changeling is meant for the biggest unit in the enemy army

    what do you guys think?

    I've testing a lot of Horrors before and they basically got smoked. They suck in combat regardless of the ward save. You're still limited on your power dice and if you try and cast spells on 1 die your going fail 1/3 of them and get the other half dispelled. Don't count on magic this edition. Anything that can get into combat within the second turn is going to beat you. Anything with big giant units like skaven is going to beat you because they could care less about losing 3-7 models in a few units for 2 rounds. Honestly magic and shooting has been reduced to support only for this edition and armies that count on it too much generally don't do well.

    I agree with dms505. Personally I'd go with a large block (or two) of Horrors (with a herald, the changling & skulltaker, where possible) in horde formation and support it with nice big blocks of Screamers & fiends.
