    The Sigilite

It is, obviously, about the old man that is Malcador. It is written by Chris Wraight and you can pre-order it off Amazon

    Here is the cover art:

Long has Malcador stood at the Emperor's side - as confidant, aide and ambassador. Now learn the truths of his mysterious past, kept secret since the glorious wars of Unification.

Seriously, if you're such a **** that you need a Chaos god to back you up in any fight you enter you deserve to get murdered. Real men do it by force of their own badass. And don't even get me started on those weak-ass mother **** psyker witch losers.

Very interesting, but I expect very little to actually be revealed. We'll probably get a hint that he saved the Emperor's life or is a biological relation, and that will be about it. I would have much rather seen an entire novel about him.

Well it's about Malcador (not a sphees mahreen) and it's written by Wraight so it will probably be good unless two pluses can somehow make a minus.

I've had the impression\suspicion since the Garro stories were released that the Inquisition symbol is going to turn out to be a slightly modified version of the sigilites personal symbol (maybe even an exact copy when the Inquisition was formed but then became modified over the years till we have what we have in 40k).

Well... the symbol kind of also incorporates the Emperor's own symbol, and the one conferred on Horus - the Eye of Terra. Garro's armour in the HH audios also bears this mark, the Eye of Terra that is.

Toby Longworth narrates: "a stylised EYE" (it's of course not clear on the audio and so a lot of people mistake it for the Inquisition 'I', this is straight from Jim Swallow)

Malcador's definitely quite a dark character if you read the right books and the cover seems to convey that perfectly. The fact that the Emperor chose someone like him as his right-hand man might suggest that the Emperor himself is hardly a stainless soul. The fact that he's getting his story told now (before some of the Primarchs are fully explored, even) suggests that his relationship with the Emperor is perhaps a bit more mundane than some of the wildest speculators might suggest - I think we can safely assume that the Big E is not just Malcador's psychic projection.

Isn't, also, the 'eye' superimposed over the 'I' of the Imperium a symbol for the Astra Telepathica? Indeed, I'm sure the Inquisitor scale astronaut bares it, as do the imperial guard psykers.

Based on his appearances so far, the Emperor is clearly no saint. Driven, yes. Devoted to the future of mankind? Definitely. But he's one ruthless SoB (and I ain't talking about Sisters).

if you're going to unify earth and conquer the universe you're hardly going to be a saint, merely depicted as one thousands of yrs later.
If the World Eaters were assigned to our planet... i don't know, it depends on how long it would take Angron to skullf*ck every single corpse before moving on. There wouldn't be much of a planet left, though.

WOw ... just looked it up on Amazon ... that should be an interesting point or just another tease ... but the mask lying on the ground is what he used in the "Outcast Dead " during the assasination meetings the Emp busted in on.
