Warseer Mixtape 2012

Yes, you have heard me correct the Warseer mixtape project is back

It has been many a long year since the project was last run, so here is a bit of a run down.

The idea of the Warseer mixtape is easy, you get a CD, fill it full of songs and then swap it with another Warseer who is doing the same. Simple

So if you want to be apart of this then signup - you have until 17th August 2012 to get your name down for this.

After this point I will then place all the names into a hat and then PM each person to tell them who they are swapping with. (In case we get odd numbers if anyone wants to be part of a threesome , note that as well)

Even though it is likely that these will be sent over international boundries, the cost to post is likely to be minimal. I have sent stuff to Australia (not a mixtape) and Sweden before and its cost me a couple of £.

Please be aware that if you are swapping a cd with someone then you are going to give them your address (via pm), if you dont want a big fat trucker who goes by the online name of LovellyJess18 turining up at your door to do bad things to you dont join up

Well it appears that warseer has decided not to send me an email saying that the topic has been updated until now, but as we now have some intrested parties I am extending the closing date until Friday 14th of September 2012, you have until that time to get your name down on the list. On costings, I've sent stuff from England to Australia and Sweden and its cost no more than £2, which has been less than when I have sent mixtapes to individuals in england

With a seriously ill wife, mother-in-law and a father-in-law about to lose his nose (again) to skin cancer, I just do not have the time nor the inclination to add anything.

I have a bit of time free, so I'm happy to get involved. Just one thing, did you let the mods know about your mass emails first? They tend to come down heavily on people who appear to spam inboxes, for good or ill.

Totally game, but may struggle with shipping, so may host it through dropbox, that way anyone who wants can access it, but obviously for a limited time, cause i'll need the space!

Agree with slaaneshes_own, maybe if we get long-distance partners, hosting the album might be a good idea. Though in some ways I guess it might take away from the effort and "value" of receiving a disc, since if you're like me you could download it and just leave it for months, whilst with a physical gift you feel more obliged to listen to it.
