    2000pts of Nurgle Daemons

    40K Army: Chaos Daemons
Here is my attempt at upping my Nurgle army to 2000pts.
    Feel free to criticise!

    Epidemius

    Herald of Nurgle
Breath of Chaos, Aura of Decay, Cloud of Flies

    4 units of 7 Plaguebearers

    Heavy Support

    3 Daemon Princes of Nurgle

For what Kugath does, you're really better off with 2 Great Unclean Ones with upgrades. It's more killy for an epidemius list, as well.

Also, are you running that setup for all of your Daemon Princes? If so, you might want to consider changing the loadout so that each DP has a specialization, which would save you some points that you could put into a fortification to hide epidemius in, as he will be a major fire magnet. It would give you an excuse to build a really cool-looking tower of nurgle, which is what I'm going to do for my mono-nurgle army, and even add some shooty to your army. It also helps to give at least one prince Noxious Touch, and get him in the fight against some troops, quick.

Beasts aren't too bad, either. D6 attacks... A squad of nurglings to escort Epi? Since they'd be hanging back in your bastion, by the time you get tally up, they're 13 point models with 3 attacks, 3 wounds that wound on a 2+. Don't expect Kugath to poop out any reasonable number of them.

"I don't want to go near the Night Lords Heresy timeline. I've tried to make notes on it before, and it was like listening to Cradle of Filth while a dwarf took a hammer to my balls." -Aaron Dembski-Bowden, commenting on his unwillingness to write a Night Lords novel
