Ongoing Reserves

I'll be using a flyer for the first time tonight and have been trying to wrap my head around the rules.

For Ongoing Reserves, I just assumed that you re-enter play from the same board edge that you left from, but after double-checking the book it seems you re-enter play follow(ing) the normal rules for Reserves (i.e. your own board edge). Am I right on this?

Yes, although if your flyer happens to have the benefit of a rule which allows them to outflank (scout) then they will be able to come on from a table side if they wish.

You can't use Outflank when re-entering play through Ongoing Reserves (BRB pg. 40).

But yeah, it looks like initial Reserves entry is an Outflank (if you wanna Outflank) and subsequent Ongoing Reserves re-entries are from your own board edge.

Kinda silly, but that's what it looks like, unless I'm missing something.
