Stomp/Impact hit question...

Another brainbursta wich could of been resolved if the game designers just stated that the flag of blood keep provides its ward save in the shooting and or magic phase,but no they had to confuse and iratate everyone by saying all ranged attacks...even though in combat a breath weapon is considerd a shooting attack so how would this work also? Best bet is to come to terms with the people your playing with at the start of the battle before a game ruining argument arises.

Nope.

The wording under breath weapons makes it clear they're CC attacks also. BRB page 67 "close combat attacks with breath weapons" right after pg 66 "shooting attacks with breath weapons".

True. As both a bloodknight user and flag bearer i only use this item against shooting or magical ranged attacks anyhow. I would never try to palm this off in impact hits or cc breath weapns anyhow. But as i pointed out before the rules are open ended and need clarity to avoid such interpretations.
