    It's getting Dusty in here...

This is a plog to document the progress of my Dust Warfare armies as I paint them. I'm currently working on two 200-point forces-one for the Axis and one for the Allies.

Here is a list of what I have left to do ( green=finished,red=WiP/unstarted,yellow=model needs minor touchups)
    Allies:
    Rhino
    The Hammers
    Tank Busters
    Death Dealers
    Bot Hunters
    Pounder
    Blackhawk

    Axis:
    Sturmpionere
    Axis Zombies
    Heavy Flak Grenadiers
    Heavy Laser Grenadiers
    Recon Grenadiers
    Ludwig
    Hans

Aaand to start things off right, here is a shot of the Hammers! I painted up these guys in about 2 hours, so they are a little flat. However, they look great on the tabletop, and that is all that matters for these guys, so the time/detail tradeoff worked out nicely.

I managed to power through all of the Allied Armor 3 units in my army. I'm quite happy with the yellow accents on them-it makes a nice contrast to all of the olive green and generally breaks up the monotony.

First up is the Tank Busters. As their name suggests, these guys are death to enemy walkers-their only downside is that they have limited range. Still, that does keep them balanced.

Grim Reapers. These guys extremely good at mowing down enemy infantry.

The Hammers. I went back in and added a bunch more details to them, they just looked too plain beforehand.

Rhino. This guy functions as my platoons command choice. I usually run him with my Hammers-together, they can decimate pretty much anything in close combat.

    Group shot!

Now I just need to finish up my Bot Hunters and I will be finished with the Allies. Then it is on to the Axis!

    Cheers!
