This one may hurt my pocket from October onwards. I can build a Dystopian Legion while also adding flavour to 40K Praetorians. The Britannia pilot just looks to cool to not own.

You know, at first I was thrilled by this, but after thinking about it I just might pass on it. I love the fleet game, but I've got way too much 28mm stuff already and am looking to get rid of a lot of it. I also don't really see my local group getting into this unless you can play a good game with ten infantry sized models or fewer, and that doesn't seem to be the case.
Sad too, because I'm sure that most would be pretty jazzed about this if it wasn't for the game saturation we are going through.

"Its' a lasgun miracle, with a bayonet, and some guts behind it."

I agree that there is a an ongoing over-saturation of games. I also think Dystopian has the best take on Steampunk right now (though sure, it could use some magic if you fancy that), and think this would most likely profit best if kept to a Skirmish-level game.
It'll also be interesting to see if they can grab a piece of the skirmish-level fantasy scene with the Forbidden Isles - get some good rulesets out there that lets people use their extensive existing collections and you're gold.

Personally I'm hoping they release enough stuff that I can make a Steampunk Imperial Guard regiment for 40k. Didn't they say on the website they wanted it to scale up from small skirmishes to large battles? Seems to imply small gmaes wouild be possible. Yes, found it:
The game is scalable from a small number of models right the way up to a full blown company of men with armoured support. A modular approach to army building guarantees the game embraces further new releases and game expansions. Dystopian Legions will feature a range of high quality pewter and resin models.

Sounds cool enough.
I hope they release enough common rank-and-file type models to make a decent army. There's lots of "steampunk" style character models around from different manufacturers, but not so much for common troops.

Like it, love the Whole Dystopian war Universe got every thing for my Prussians.
Love the giant Robot in the "Road is Closed" Pic (is that the Faust?)
As for 28mm being oversaturated, don't care none of the other 28mm games intrest me.
Not bought a 28mm mini for nearly a year (new Malifaux releases also intrest me thought).
Play in or around Liverpool?
Search For Liverpool Gamers Commune on facebook.
I just hope they use 25mm-bases for the regular inf. Like, seriously. Unfortunately it looks like this commander's on a 30 or 40mm base:

Can always magnetise the itty bases to stick them on the big bases, but I agree that some smaller bases for the less important types would be good.

Those are a bit good.

Lest we forget
It's looking very, very nice.
I can see the potential for a massive nerdgasm over the EotBS assault troops if they look anything like the illustrations in the rule book.
The models look a litte busy detail wise but........I want the british ones for ork vehicles.

I love the Faust robot, dread to think how much it will cost in resin, though. Not that it will stop be buying one. Stupid Spartan Games and their addictive, superbly executed Steampunk aesthetics...
