Not sure what army to fight my friend with today. Need advice

My buddy is coming over in 3 hours to play a 3000pts game against me. He'll either be bring an unorthidox TK army or Lizardmen.

His TK army is 12 Chariots, 2 War Sphinxes. 2x3 Stalkers, 20 Archers, Bone Giant, and then various characters and other things.
His Lizards use lots of Saurus warriors, Skinks, 3-6 Salamanders, Slann with Guard, Scar Vet on Cold One.

He uses alot of skirmishing skinks in the lizard men army with large hordes of Saurus Warriors and his TK army is built around chariots and monsters.

Now my armies to choose from are VC, WOC and WE.

My VC are a infantry horde army with Skeletons and Zombies up to 80 each. 40 GG, Black and Blood Knights, 2x Varghulfs, 1 Blackcoach, 1 Corpse Cart, 20 Ghouls, and all kinds of characters

    My Woc have 30 Shield Warriors, 18 Blender Warriors, 15 Halberd Warriors/Chosen, 1 Warshrine, 10 Knights, 1 Giant, 3 DO's, 3 Trolls, 10 Hounds, 2 Hellcannons, all characters possible.

My WE are 24 Archers, 24 Dryads, 18 Gladeriders, 6 Treekin, 2 Treemen, 16 Wardancers, 8 Waywatchers, and various characters i can do. No dragon or eagles unfortunately.

I've heard VC don't do well up against TK. And my WoC would never be able to avoid those chariots. I think the WE could dance around his TK army. The Lizardmen I'm not so sure about with any of the armies. I don't have alot of experience against LZman. They have a wicked magic phase and he takes Light to buff the heck out of his army. I'm a little lost here lol.

    1. Nice sig

    2. I'd take WoC because hellcannons hurt both TK and Lmen a lot and you'll outclass him in most combats. With VC Lmen will be able to shut down your magic too easily and possibly make your general explode quicker and TK may be able to pour on so much damage at once (sphinxes + chariots + giant combi-charges) that you'll just crumble and die.
WoC is the best possible matchup I think.

    3. Wood Elves... in both cases it would be very difficult to get even a draw. Once again Lmen will control your magic pretty well and possibly beat you up in combat too. Their toughness will make it hard to shoot at much as well while skinks are very annoying for wood elves. If he took kings then you have a better chance I think but his high toughness across the board, multiple units and fast monsters as well as resurrection would make it very difficult.

So if you want a real challenge go with elves, if not then WoC

I took my VC and wiped the floor with him. I thought I was going to get creamed when my Lvl 4 Master Necromancer blew up on turn one, but the spell he blew up on was the radius Vanhels Danse, so my army really surged forward on turn one. We played battle for the pass which meant he couldn't really get away from me. My army went from one board side to the other and I just overwhelmed him and ran him down. It was also awesome that my BlackCoach went Etheral/Flying by Turn 2!!! It held up a unit of 30 Saurus Warriors for two turns while dying to static combat rez.

He took light magic and any casualties it caused with banishment I just ignored and rehealed after. He buffed his guys up with ASF +1 attack or WS10 I10. I would usually be able to stop one of these but not both, but in the end it didn't matter anyways cause I could weather his casualties and still kill his stuff. He said his army never rolled that bad before and he'd never been beaten that badly before. So we'll do a rematch.

In his first round of combat, my blender Vamp Lord killed 10 guys on his own. With the the Hero Vamp killing four more.

Vampire Lord with Sword of Bloodshed, Charmed Shield, Opal Amulet, Potion of Strength, Quickblood, Red fury. Kind of a glass cannon, but he usually doesn't die anyways. His job is too kill rank and file.
