Well, maybe that's nothing important - maybe it's the fact that with that colourful heraldry there's no single "bretonnian" shade, though "Grail Gold" would be a great colour name - but that is somewhat worrying for me too.

Thanks! That's great news! Looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

Why? They did copyright a "space marine" term, which seems to be quite generic...

Because Grail is not a generic term. Well, I suppose

OMG, those are good news for Wood Elves and Dwarfs players, but very bad for bretonnias players like me...

    Thanks anyway for them.

Just because I have not heard much does not mean nothing is happening. Antipathy came up with a whole bunch of rumours for the Bretonninans that were news to me.

Maybe there is more going on than I know about. (But even so I still would not expect them any time soon)

They could make some custom heroes, but I am afraid that Forge would go instead for some new units with poor rules -- not the best get-You-by for an overdue book I would say.

I am happy with any Bret mini warhammer forge makes. I am still waiting on the Bret Grail knight on foot to be released.

But there's an excellent Grail Hero with Warhammer available... what I really find lacking is a foot Questing Knight with great weapon - I find him to be a nice and cheap overlord for infantry contingent...

I agree. And hopefully we will get foot knights when the book is redone. I've always liked armoured infantry.

    Re: Fantasy Release Order

Does anyone think "Dogs of War" will be rehashed into the Ally system that 40k has now? I think its a safe bet we can expect the new edition of Fantasy to be released June/July 2014..

Well there have been rumblings about allied contingents. It sounded pretty dodgy, but if we see 40k allies books coming out (not saying there are) we might be looking at something like that. But nothing concrete afaik.

Maybe your right, as fantasy is a lot more externally balanced then 40k. But I have noticed of overlapping in the systems; now 40k has its own "stand and shoot" overwatch, random charges, and its own Psychic "magic" lores.. so ya never know.

Previous editions of 40K had overwatch and psychic lores, so they aren't new. Moving to pre-measuring and random charges is new to 40K, but they have had pre-measuring with dice dependant charging in games other than warhammer.

All three..... I just understand why they are going to take a long time to come out. They aren't armies that you can just through in a couple of units and be done with it. Wood elves MAYBE but even then i think not.
