Help outfitting Tactical Squad (Vanilla Marines)
So I have a 2000 point list of Space Marines I've been working on, and I just can't decide out to outfit my second tactical squad. The plasma squad is set in stone as it is, it has worked wonderfully so far. I will post my list in its entirety so you can see where I lack and how best to strengthen that weakness. In particular I feel I lack somewhat in anti-infantry. That's why I've debated using flamers and either missiles or a heavy bolter in the squad. Let me know what you think of the list as a whole too!
HQ - Commander - 160 pts
artificer, relic blade
elite - 5 sternguard - 175 pts
3 combi-meltas, razorback
elite - ironclad dread - 165 pts
2 x hunter killer missiles
elite - 5 assault terminators - 200 pts
th/ss
troop - 10 tactical marines - 230 pts
plasma gun, combo-plasma, plasma cannon, rhino
troop - 10 tactical marines - ?
???
fast attack - 3 attack bikes - 150 pts
3 multi-meltas
fast attack - storm talon gunship - 155 pts
skyhammer missiles
fast attack - 2 land speeders - 180 pts
2 typhoon missile launchers
heavy support - predator - 120 pts
lascannon sponsons
heavy support - land raider crusader - 250 pts
so there it is, try to focus on that tactical squad and not as much on the list itself. But if you have some advice on what to change in the list and how to outfit tacticals for new list, let me know!

Re: Help outfitting Tactical Squad (Vanilla Marines)
My default Tactical Squad is always the Lascannon/Flamer. I know the Las isn't really anti infantry, but it can snap fire while a Heavy Plas can't, and it can threaten heavy infantry/and vehicles decently. My usual thought is that basic marines are pretty good at handling lighter infantry already, and you already have the plasma squad. You can split the squad and get a Las from a rear objective, or you can advance and Snap-Fire with the full squad. Flamer cuz it's free and "Wall o Fire" can be pretty nice.
I want to like Heavy Bolters, it's just really hard.
