Tryzan VP Question

hello oh wisedomful ones! please bear on me enlightenment.

a duel of epic proportions, tryzan vs daemon price. warlord vs warlord.

if my DP kills Tryzan but he resurrects as another model in Necron army do I get the VP for killing warlord?

if not and if Tryzan in his new body is killed do I get the VP then?

or do I never get the VP if he is killed and resurrected else where?

I believe you do not; as he's still alive and on the table. However, if you keep killing him and have the trait that gives you a VP for defeating chars in challenges, you may get the VP for winning the challenge each time. Unsure.

I believe the general consensus across the recent books is that a model that comes back doesn't ever count as dead untill it stops coming back (thawn, Celestine, necrons)

Just read his Surrogate Hosts rule and the corresponding FAQ, he wont award any VPs until he is removed from play/the game.
