The warlord traits say that it is selected by the HQ character with the highest Ld. given (top of P.111).
however, if I take an ally of convenience HQ that has a higher leadership than any HQ in my army, the allied HQ gets the warlord trait but my main army cannot benefit, yes?
ex. I play guard, and I prefer to use CCS(Ld9). If I ally with GK (the old assassin ally schtick) the HQ that I take for GK gets the warlord trait (as they are all Ld10).
if this is true, I may just start taking Creed(Ld10) again.
