I am curious how many wraithguard will be in that box. They are what? 15$ a model right now. so if that is a 5 man set, that will be nice save, plus wraithguard are great models. I almost started an eldar army purely on the fact that I like wraithguard models. Might buy a box. But the weapon packs are cool too. I wonder if there will be any release at the end of the month or if chaos will be the beginning of october.

Not sure what sternguard weapons would be, but combi weapons is a good guess. As is a rerelease of the fancy deathwatch bolters.

Wraithguard should be 5 per box. But 3 per box is also a possibility, sadly. Hoping to be posititively suprised there.

As for number of wraithguards, I'm guessing 3 per box. There are 3 different models right of them on GW's website so pretty sure the box will contain those 3.

It'll be 3 per box if the other fine cast unit releases (ushabti, kroxigor, treekin, yhetees) are anything to go by however I'd love to be proven wrong as all of those previous unit repackagings came with a price decrease and this will be the first 40k single-model-to-unit repack.

The previous metal hive tyrant was made fine cast shortly before a redo in plastic, conversion to finecast has absolutely no bearing on any future model releases as it simply means they've run out of, or are running very low on, current metal stocks of these models.

The sternguard weapon pack is listed as a 7 part kit on another list I've seen. I'd like to think it'd be 2 combi plasma/melta/flamer and something else but it is GW.

All (or most) the other Finecast reboxings of large critters from blisters reduced their price, though. Going to remain hopeful on this one.

Have any other models been released in non-legal unit sizes recently?
Just can't imagine Wraithguard being only 3 per pack.

I know the old Eldar jetbikes for example, but things like the aforementioned Ushabti are all game legal right?
I can't think of the last time GW released a unit that couldn't be fielded without multiple purchases.

No Slaaneshi chariot doesn't count, one box is still a legal unit!

I am wondering what they mean by Eldar Upgrade Packs. Will it mean we can't buy a whole shrieker jetbike or a Storm Guardian squad anymore? That instead we have to buy some pack at full price and then buy another pack that increases the overall price considerably?

Also regarding Wraithguard pack. If they do a 3 pack then they are basically marketing Wraithguard out of most Eldar players' budgets. My guess this will be a 5 pack as all the other finecast Eldars are in a 5 pack(Farseer and warlocks, Striking Scorpions, Harlequins and so on).

Actually Striking Scorpions are a 6-pack, no? 5 normal dudes and 1 Exarch. If not, GW got a nice increase in price for less minis than metal there.
