    Has anyone used gog.com?

Due to me going back to security work, I have to work stupid amount of hours which is full of boredom and I'm starting to run out of random stuff to watch, and I stumbled on this site. I have access to a decent net connection so downloading shouldn't be a problem but was wonering if anyone has used this website and was it a pleasant or bad experience?

Here's a link to the website: GOG

Gogs awesome. 100% reliable, no ******** and you dont need to worry about anything bad happening.

    Honestly, it's great.
Plastic is great. Light, easy to convert, doesn't chip the paint off when you bump the model...

That's why when they makes a unit plastic and charge the same as when it was metal I don't care. To me the model just got better for the same cost, who cares about anything else. ~ Malorian

Yeah I've bought about half a dozen games from them, no worries.

I've bought a few things from them, its always been fine. Payment goes through, start downloading the game, no problems.

Another vote in favour of Gog. Been using it since they started, got about 50 games and I've never had a single problem. As an added bonus they also have a number of free games worth checking out.

Good to go here as well. My coworker has used it without any problems as well.

Ditto, GoG is great. Although some claim it killed abandonware.

I'm a fan of GoG. I currently have thirty six games on my account. Most of those were bought on sale and twelve were freebies. There are some games where you used to have to get in touch with them personally for keys to play in multiplayer, but I believe they have automated that process for all games now. The only trouble I ever had was a few years ago they tried something new for marketing which resulted in the site being down for a couple of days and things looked like they had gone out of business overnight. They stated after it was over that they would be more careful with promotions in the future and there has been nothing like that since.

Yeah, my bad, lack of sleep and basic code don't mix... Well with all the positive comments going to get 'Total Annihilation' for some old school RTS fun

Haha yeah these were the first two I bought. Just wishing they could somehow get their hands on TIE-Fighter.

Picked up Master of Orion 1 & 2 there, but even if you don't get anything you can get Beneath a Steel Sky, Tyrian 2000 for free, along with some more point & clicks and an Ultima game.

I had good memories of Freespace, I might get hold of that sometime.

Download Ultima 7. Insanely awesome game. Seriously, more secrets than you can shake a stick at, some places I have only managed to reach through cheats, that's how awesomely secret they are.

Some difficult parts though, you do need a walkthrough every now and then.

Warhammer Battle Day - Time for Epic Battles

GOG.COM just got King of Dragon Pass available. That is one of my favourite games ever, and quite unique.
