I wonder if this is related to the mysterious announcement to be made at midnight this evening. Although the fact they're making a midnight announcement makes me think it's something much more important than just a limited edition novella.

Yep, the midnight surprise is all about the two titles, the Dark Vengeance novella and Ascension of Balthasar (not sure about the exact name), which is an audio drama by CZ Dunn and also deals with the characters from the new starter (the DA Master is named Balthazar).
