Yes you can have a brand new team that's never been played before.

Going to run a rookie league and then the premier one with the older teams.

At the moment rules state one team only. I'd like to keep this rule in effect so that people aren't playing in two tournaments at once. I'm afraid you'll have to decide on one team or the other Keravin.

Except we had a conversation at the last IRC chat that said EXACTLY WHAT I JUST SAID.

Because of the delays and the discrepancies in the long running teams TR compared to the newbies was the reasoning.

Of course we can just keep going with tournies that should take a week, but instead take 4 due to people who aren't around being included.

Hmm. Okay, how about this. We have three tournament bands: TR<120, 121<TR<150 and 151<TR. You may have a maximum of one team active in each of these at any one time. So if your team reaches TR 121 after a match and you already have a 120<TR<150 team, you must declare one inactive and play with the other until it reaches TR 151.

Whatever we decide to do we have to be a lot more organised this time. The last tourney was facical in the amount of time taken to run it and the newbies on the whole havent been included properly which was the main intent of the last tourny.

We need another meeting to discuss options rather than leaping into something and we need more staff with power to run the tourneys if Yorkie is absent.

I thought we were going to run a 'Premiership' of established teams with frequent Rookie/Low TR tournys to build up teams to Premiership standard. That way we should be able to run long term and short term comps in the same system. How about each coach being allowed up to one 'Premiership' team at a time (A coaches Premiership teams can be withdrawn if another one of their teams qualifies or if they can't play an extended league for whatever reason) and as many other teams they wish to have (Only one allowed to be trying to qualify for Premiership status at once)? Other teams can take part in ad hoc tourneys if there is the interest. /random thoughs

I'm going away for the next week so won't be playing in those mini tournaments. When I return I would like to sort out the next league season though. The main thing is just to get people who play enough together.

Okay, the under 120 tournament will be up soon (once Xavier's goblins accept their invitation). Due to a lack of interest (only two teams) the 120-150 has been cancelled.

EDIT: Okay, just to get it started I included my WarSeers in the tournament lineup. Xavier's team will replace them once he accepts his invitation. I assure you the tourney was seeded randomly, I didn't deliberately get myself a match against puny goblins. Points will be 1 for a first round victory, 2 for a second round victory and 3 for a final victory.

EDIT EDIT: I've also created a 'Veterans' tournament for all the recently active teams above 150 TR. Points will be 2 for a win and 1 for a draw.

I'm considering removing the 120-150 band in favour of just under and over 150.
