    Brushes?

    Hi all,

I'm currently using winsor and newton series 7, and I'm convinced I wont find a better brush. They're perfect. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

That said, I've just had an end split and I've had to order a new one. Whilst I'm there, I'm wondering about other brushes. I need some others to paint basecoats and washes etc.

Up until now, I've been using some GW ones (Mediocre) and italeri (terrible) for this. What brush brands do you use, and how good are they? I've been recommended to try out army painter, so I bought one, waiting for it to arrive.

    Re: Brushes?

I use Rosemary and Co. brushes and i have to say that they are the best brushes i've ever used. A nice balance mix of synthetic and kolinsky hair and worth their bargain price. They do need the usual brush care every now and then to keep them top spec, but an hour cleaning your kit is much cheaper than buying new all the time.

I use Loew-Cornell and have had very good results with them.
