    The Dark Vengeance minis

    Does anyone know how the guy painted the gold on the Crimson Slaughters? Its a very flat brown looking gold.

    According to the painting guide its Brass Scorpion, Agrax Earthshade wash and Sycorax Bronze.

    I believe he means How To Paint Citadel Miniatures: Dark Vengeance that is available as iBook. As far as I know, there has been no mention of paper version.

    If yopu're considering buying the iPad version, I'd hold off on it. The reviews have been pretty bad, the models shown are just tabletop quality.

    Exceptionally annoyed they didn't include it in this month's White Dwarf, which I paid good money for...

    You can find free painting guides for Dark Vengeance in my signature. Our mate Garfy painted a Helbrute, he used Runelord Brass as a basecoat and added a nice verdigris effect with a mix of Teclis Blue and Warpstone Glow (Kabalite Green would work, too).
