@Stickmonkey, heard about a lot of the Plasma themed stuff, and although there has always been the hint to Plasma (i believe it was a tac squad with a pc that started it all off), there was no real fluff behind it. Now though, due to your post tying in with Plasmanators, Plasmapreds (same weapon as the deimos, but no hcb), etc, Im inclined to believe it.At the siege unit I believe it was said to be an ares land raider with (yet more) plasma sponsons (quad linked plasma guns im told).
That and the FW schedule should have no bearing on GW releases, they run them completely separately for all intents.. But wherever the rumour came from may have had it on the nose I suppose.
But I agree with you their schedule is too set by this point to change it dramatically...
Hopefully not anyway for our sakes...

In other news... six plastic kits and 6-7 characters? I have a hard time believing that is going to be a single wave... despite other armies claiming they'll get at least a dosen kits in their next update(looking at you, Eldar).
Seems to work as 2 waves. 4 plastic kits and some characters now, a few months later the last two plastic kits and a battleforce.

Hastings has been saying the schedule is on point for DA in the final quarter and that Tau will be the 1st Codex of 2013. I'm putting my money on Hastings for consistency as well as my sheer desire to believe.If Chaos are up next (and I hope not), I'm afraid that we won't see any new Dark angels until next year as mentioned above
But I would love if we are wrong and GW have other plans for the DA. If there will be a delay until next year I wont buy any
miniatures until then.
Pretty sure both Hastings and Harry have said in order: Chaos Space Marines then Warriors of Chaos then Dark Angels then Daemons of Chaos(fantasy) and Chaos Daemons(40k) together so wrong on Tau. Daemons will be the first 2013 fantasy and 40k book(s).
I'm most excited about that Inner Circle box set. Has the potential to be awesome. Can't wait to start building some more robed Chaplains and Librarians.

And they specifically did say that that, in addition and fitting into this schedule, Tau would be the first codex of 2013 (not including Daemons which is a single cross-system release rather than pure codex).
Which means they only need to release (or reveal) CSM, WOC & DA, plus Hobbit, by the end of December. That's four releases and four release slots (not including mid-month slots). Daemons in 2013, thus Tau would be the first 'pure' codex release.
Not saying anything's right or wrong, just that the mention of Tau as first codex in 2013 doesn't disprove or prove anything. Personally I'm inclined to go with Harry & Hastings.
I just hope they don't phase out the DA and RW upgrade sprues.
Also since when as a FW release stalled a GW release. Even if it is the HH I still don't think there would be a delay.

Sounds like DA may finally get vehicles no one else can have, such as the Baal Predator and Furioso/Death Company/Librarian Dreadnoughts for Blood Angels.
Finally, all the wanton cries for Dark Angels to be rolled into Codex Space Marines will cease! Or so I hope...

The feeling of not knowing is the worst. If we had a date then thats it. But now its pure speculation.

GW regularly features an Imperial fist army which has a terminator with a plasma cannon.
Not quite
The landspeeder-esque flyer sounds plausible. It wouldn't surprise me if Sammie gets an option for a modified version of that instead of a modified version of the Landspeeder (or, we should say the mini-Landraider-skimmer). I like the idea of having the option to have a JetSammie or some SammieSpeeder type vehicle and hope they keep the option.
