As the title says FAQs are up now.
Enjoy.

I'll think of something appropriate soon enough to put here.
Ah, they nerfed the Hyperphase Sword.
*Looks at Marines with PowerSwordsWeapons*
Huh.
I made a Genestealer Cult! --- 2nd edition Tyranid army!
Mat Ward Fact #27- His super power is invulnerability, his only weakness being an allergy to Halflings.
Guild up and join the Mat Ward Defence League!
Big changes to Look out sir.
Also the change to Feel no Pain seems to REALLY slow down the game.
If any model in a unit has feel no pain you have to roll each armor save, then if you fail try for feel no pain, then move on to the next wound.
Well...that's a lot of melee AP2 they just handed to the Dark Eldar
Incubi got buffed, the Huskblade is going to be taken by everyone and their dog, the Baron got better, and the Decapitator is still terri-bad. Fun times!
Bah, Orks can't use grabba claws or bomb squigs on zooming flyers. Not that I'm too surprised.
It's nice they noted that Ramshackle works on hull point loss. That's the way I played it.
Weird that cover saves are useable against a Deff Rolla though. How does that work?

Christ, they've just outright changed stuff already! Some dumb, even contradictory answers in there (e.g., it seems that weapons which automatically hit now both can and can't hit flyers. That's helpful). Further proof that you should never, ever pay attention to FAQs, because the only reason they exist to get people to shut up about there being no FAQs.
EDIT: Oh, and it seems that weapons which automatically hit now both can and can't hit flyers. That's helpful.

Idiots... nothing can live forever.
Q: If Chaos Space Marines are allied to Chaos Daemons, do they roll
for scatter if Deep Striking within 6" of a Chaos Icon carried by a
Chaos Daemon model? (p81)
A: If the wording on the Chaos Icon’s description refers to ‘all
friendly units’, then yes. If not, then the Chaos Icon only
affects the specific units referred to in its description.
The answer makes no sense. The first answer should be "no" it looks like.
The Dark Eldar and Eldar one seem reasonable for example: gave DE some ap2 close combat options, finally fixed the banshee mask, harlequins are the same for both armies.
Another terribly worded entry:
Q: If a model makes a Pile In move which brings it into base contact
with a model with a lash whip, does it then fight at its normal
Initiative step or must it wait until the Initiative 1 step? (p83)
A: It fights at its normal Initiative 1 step.
Whoops! Looks like someone posted it too soon. They just disappeared and were replaced by the old version.
Yeah, I'm only getting the old versions. At least we know they're close...
Yes and the main banner on the US website wasn't DV but said "50 new kits available for pre-order", but had pics of existing min's which must be in a big Finecast wave!! This must have come down with the new FAQ so we should see something later today.![]()
"ANYTHING that expands upon the Warhammer Universe that I love so much is something I will always be able to afford."
Flying daemon Princes . . .
Did anyone download them while they were available? A bit more detail would be nice to tide us over.
The other stuff I remember from the Ork one:
Tankhammers and Big Choppas are officially 2 handed, no other statline changes.
Ghaz's Waaagh! let all Orks use a run distance of 6. In addition, units that are S&P trade it for Relentless for the duration, and everyone gets fearless.
There were also a few clarifications on looted wagons (in case of Don't Press Dat, passengers can't disembark unless in emergency, but you don't turbo boost).
I grabbed the main book, CSM, SM and Nids.
A post on /tg/ says Leman Russ tanks are now Heavy Vehicles, replacing the Lumbering Behemoth rule.
