So I'm working through my battle company of Marines as Blood Ravens, and I'm coming up to a small speed bump. How should I do the Chapter/Company Champion? Should it just be normal Blood Raven colors or should I go with black armor?

There's nothing fluff wise to go for the black armour. All the Blood Raven champions I''ve seen use the standard scheme.

If you play Dawn of war II in 2-player co-op mode, player 2's units have a variant black/red colour scheme. Just to make things more complicated, Chaos Rising and Retribution also add a third bone/red armour variant for Blood Ravens serving Kyras.
I'd go for standard red/bone though (with gold?) since that's what most people associate with the Blood Ravens.
