Can IG on battlements give/ recieve orders ?

Hi

In the light of the recent FAQ, can IG units give or receive orders while on the battlements of a building (eg the fortress of arrogance) ?

If they're outside they can issue orders. If they're inside they can't. Did the FAQ change this..?

The faq and the BRB rules do not leave a coherent rules framework for what exactly battlements are, a seperate part of a mutlti section building or just reachable terrain on top of a building.

Until the FAQ it was clearly the prior of the two. Unfortunately, all the FAQ did to battlements was confuse the heck out of them, IMO.
