But who are ye, in rags and rotten shoes; you dirty-bearded, blocking up the way?...
@Vhalyar: Ha!
I think I will have to combine the forgefiend/mauler kit with the dragon when I get them to actually give the dragon a tail.
Seriously, the whole giant hole at the back is just aweful. It looks like the model was broke in half. Thankfully, it also looks like a tail should be easy to add to make it look like, well, a dragon.

General of: ~3k Necrons, ~4k Chaos, and ~3k of Tyranids.
Heaven forbid a giant flying machine have an actual jet engine on it.
Look at the back of the Stormraven's engines. They're not that different.
I suppose their..."shock" lies in how the helldrakes...hole is so massively...big. I am pretty sure the stormraven looks 100% mechanical and thus it can get away with any arrangement of thrusters however the minute you make something organic and and try the same thing, there is bound to be some...concern. Although I am sure Nurgle is enjoying yet another way to spread his devastation from that attack vector.
Using Necron's before they were mechanically integrated into their space scooters.
Any word if a Berzerker champion can take lightning claws?
I would buy the Limited Edition codex but the chance of it going for anything more than it is currently selling for is insanely slim. I'm thinking of tempting Tzeentch however.....![]()

Whoah, you got me disappointed. I thought “new chaos marine launch” meant that the Angry Marines launcher became a reality :

It looks fire-farting-pterodactyl fine !
Actually, I'm not playing Sisters of Battle. I'm playing Sisters of Bitter. They share the same rules as Sisters of Battle, with one notable exception : they use Acts of Frustration instead of Acts of Faith. They just infuse their weapons with all their resentment for being the most neglected army.
I know people have said the new stuff is toyish...a lot...but...I have to say it. The Heldrake reminds me of the recent movie version of Lazorbeak.

The 360 view made it worse...so sad :'(
The Warpsmith, though...now there's a model! I actually said "Oh God, yes...please." when I got to its 360. Very nice.
The Dark Apostle is not as bad as I thought...but still not great.
I do rather like the Sorcerer, though. The Raptors are stunning as well.
I'll give the model release a C+.
Raptors, nice. Aspiring Champion, nice. Sorcerer is not bad, Warpsmith, Apostle kinda ok. Everything else, a big serving of NOPE.
I am 100% sure that those Mutilators are a 4th ed sculpt. There's nothing that says "2012" in them.
And why no sprue pics?

Mutilators use the same bodies as Obliterators. Only the heads and arms are different.
Having had a better look at the fiends I'm really impressed, the animal head looks lame but the other head looks spot on. Wayland games have 20% and free shipping on chaos preorders so I know where Im going.
I think I'd still rather have the reg. codex versus the limited edition.

A melta to the face: if it's good enough for Huron, it's good enough for me.
Did you know I have a blog? Neither did I, but apparently it's here! I review codices, write unbalanced, childish homebrewed rules, and post articles of my painting, conversions, and writing.
The Dragon back end is just weird. It's like half a model, more pterodactyl than dragon. And that large opening exhaust is just ill placed. They should have left off the back pair of dinky feet and just put a bunch of techno-organic tentacles and tendrils there.
The Fiend looks really nice. The tendrils make the mauler much more appealing. My favorite is still plasma cerberus
Dr. Octopus Warpsmith is busy but i like it.
Aspiring Champion is nice, but overpriced.
Dark Apostle is also really busy. But i like his armor details.
Old Raptors were nicer designs. GW always does flying karate kick poses.
I like the mutilator arms, but those faces. Like a beachball with some skin on it.
Sorceror is boring, face look too flat. Paintjob is very plain.
No Abby in finecast. New model confirmed yet? I know there was rumors of it.

Nice Photoshop skillz, GW.

I know it's just a simple mistake, but it just adds to the feeling that GW is just mailing it in with this release. There are some great models here, but the big kit, "show piece" models just do not look like they belong in my existing Chaos Space Marine army. I guess it's up to Forgeworld to add to my army with future HH products.
That being said, I could see taking some daemon engines as allies for my Daemon army.
