Well, the new Chaos codex price is out, and I see that Codex prices will be greater. The rising costs have made it improbable for me to continue playing my three armies. Which one should I dump?
I play:
Dark Eldar: My first army with a long hiatus do to poor rules and the guys who taught me to play cheating. I was ecstatic when they were redone, and actually have them completely painted, and almost all based. They serve me well and fit my style of play well. I love the fluff, and win with less than optimal builds.
Eldar: I love the style of the army, but it is the most recent start up. Mostly just primed. I do poorly with this army, mostly from learning it still. When I started this was my second choice to build, and I just recently got it the way I like in the model department. I like the fluff, and the models.
Tau Empire: I like the Battlesuits, and the lines on the infantry. I don't care much about the Kroot but see the necessity to actually win a game here and there. I chose this army over the Eldar years ago and have all but the Kroot painted. It was the army I played the most before the return of the Dark Eldar. This army feels more like an army to me than the other two. The fluff is alright, but not as much fun as the Eldar, or Dark Eldar.
I have roughly the same amount of points in all three armies.
