    Re: New Here

Hi, welcome to Warseer and Warhammer, AFliXTioN! Warriors of Chaos are a fun army to play and paint.

There are some very good threads on making snow bases around, so I suggest using the search function (remember, always use the "Advanced Search", the regular one is less dependable). As a general piece of advice: There are several ways of doing snow bases. First, there's the good old bicarbonate/baking soda variant. Mix Bicarbonate with a bit of PVA glue and maybe a bit of white paint, apply to base, wait for it to dry, done. Really looks good too. Then there's several pre-made snow products to apply to your bases like "snow flock" by Gale Force 9 and others. Mix with PVA glue and some water, apply, maybe sprinkle some of the stuff on top for a more "freshly fallen" look. Then there are snow paste products by Woodland Scenics and others. Also interesting stuff. Some people used salt which can lead to very interesting and pretty results but it's kind of "advanced" to do. I like to use different techniques over each other for some patches of icy snow, partly melted snow, permafrost ground and so on, depending on what's required. If you browse the painting section here on Warseer you'll find loads of helpful threads about this topic.

Just on a side note, please read the Warseer posting guidelines. They also include a part about the use of punctuation and capital letters. I hope to see some pictures of your army some time in the future. Have fun on Warseer and just ask if you have any questions!
