Thread: New Space Marines Rumors

    Re: New Space Marines Rumors

The other reason for having bolters attached to arms is that it frees up space on the sprue. Not a lot, but over the space of 10 bolters, enough space is saved for a couple decent sized parts. Additionally, bolters with slings are possible with attached hands, not so much with separate ones where you have to clip the handle.

Does anyone have UK pricing for these new megaforce bundles?

Thank you. That actually seems pretty good.

It is, only issue is the fact that value-wise the marine one is the same as last year's, but took a €40 price-hike. Still worth buying though

Still £66 off buying things individually is pretty damn good for GW don't you think?!?!

    Re: New Space Marines Rumors

I'm not arguing that, more that it's a severe price hike over what it was. More indicitive of GW's attitude to bundles than anything else

Everything went up during the summer. It would be foolish to think that the bundles wouldn't.

Well. The rumour of a release an it's price is directly relevant so what's the point in 2 seperate threads that are going to mention the same thing

Discussing the price of a space marine release in a space marine rumours thing isn't that bad is it? Especially when the discussion stated when the bundle was in fact still a rumour?

Nah, to be fair, I've probably gone a little far past that line. Just gonna stop mentioning the price of them here, as to be fair it IS decent

I'm no mod but they take a high line when it comes to discussion about pricing (regardless of any relevancy) purely because it quickly descends into a whinge fest. I'd rather we talk about the rumours and keep the thread open.

Apologies, I wasn't aiming it at you.

The bundles are a good deal, again. I think someone mentioned a £66 saving? Very reasonable.

    Re: New Space Marines Rumors

PG.7 of the bunker thread has a link to an asian forum where the fantasy pictures originated, that's where the 40k ones are. Tbh the pics made me go from wanting one of each 40k bundle to wanting 2 Necron ones instead

EDIT: for your viewing pleasure http://tieba.baidu.com/p/1939352925 (scroll down a bit for necrons)

Also just noticed it's yet more sniper scouts. They're almost as bad as Empire knights or Khorne berzerkers for being tossed in everything

We were hardly over the top though it was all relevant as opposed to whining but I know what you mean.

    Stop talking about pricing you!!

I think the main reason we would see more mk8 pieces is to try and create more of a distinction between 30k and 40k marine armies as you can nearly get away with the current tactical squad with a few FW bits painted in a legion scheme.

Er, what? The normal Scouts may have more weapon options, but the Sniper Scouts have a better heavy weapon and their heads are not that ugly (i.e. sream for replacement).
