    Waaagh! Grimgob

    Hello Warseer,

I've collected orcs for fantasy for a long time now and I've decided to make myself an army of their 40k counterparts. I've been inspired by the ork project logs here and I like the anything goes style that the orks have.

So here's the start of my army, a triplane dakkajet:

Next I'm going to be converting a battlewagon and some meganobz as well as sculpting a mega-armoured warboss.

Any comments or criticisms are welcome.

Here's the very start of my battlewagon. It's kind of come together from what I've had lying around, the Leman Russ has been hanging about unused for about 10 years and the chimera tracks are left over from the walking tank I made for my Praetorians. The front section is going to be for transporting troops and there is going to be a ramp that can be opened and closed.

Any and all comments and criticisms are welcome.

    Re: Waaagh! Grimgob

There has been a bit more progress on my battlewagon. The front and rear sections have been joined together, I've added some textured plasticard to the deck and I've added a ramp.

I've left it so that the ramp can be opened and closed. I'm planning to add some bits that look like pneumatic rams and hopefully it will still move once they're in place.

As well as the pneumatic rams I'll also be adding some exhaust pipes, orky decorations and a lot of rivets.

    Please feel free to comment.

    Re: Waaagh! Grimgob

So after gluing on a lot of rivets and messing around with the ramp opening rams I've finished constructing my battlewagon.

I'm most of the way through converting the eponimous Warboss Grimgob. I should finish him sometime in the next few days.

In the mean time, feel free to leave a comment.

    Re: Waaagh! Grimgob

    Thanks for the comments.

    Here is Warboss Grimgob:

He's not as complete as I would like. If I had more time I would have added some pistons and other gubbins but he has to be painted enough to play with by the weekend so I'm going to have to go back and add some more bits to him later. I think he'll do for now though.

Any comments and criticisms are welcome.
