I think it looks fine. And I agree, yellow can be a real beast.

I painted some Bones in June.

    Some critters:

And with converting my Night Goblins to Kings of War, I discovered I wanted some Giants for them, and to fill out a Troll regiment. Accordingly, 2 Giants and a Troll:

With the next bones tsunami looming later this year, I finally managed to get some more of mine painted:

    Some undead

I really like the Reaper bases - if you turn them around, the integral base moulded on the feet of most models will fit nicely (plus/minus a little snip with the old clippers) within. A glob of spackle and done.

    And some demons

Those are some nice undead and demons.

I have managed to finish some additional figures and some buildings.

I also calculated that I am one third of the way through my initial Bones pledge - plenty more to go!

Another update, this time I've managed to complete the single largest figure from my Bones I pledge - the Bone Giant:

Warseer is reborn and the bonyeard is raised once more. During the hiatus I have managed to paint... not much actually

I painted a clutch of Bones models over Christmas - still less than halfway through!

New Year, new painting. While everyone else comes back to Warseer I'll keep this thread going:

Very nice IMEF Marines! What was the inspiration for the uniform colors? Also, what is the terrain bit they are standing on? It looks familiar, but I can't place the thing.

To avoid double posting, here is a group of NOVA Corp Troopers I've painted.

Thanks! There was no specific inspiration for the scheme, just that I wanted a reasonably bright colour scheme. I think for my NOVA corps I will try turquoise and yellow.

The terrain is part of the Dragons Don't Share set.

I like your collection there, very impressive!

Re: The Boneyard ... (A place for everyones Reaper 'Bones' miniatures)

Been painting my Bones over the past year and a half ish (thanks in no small part to the SA oathing threads), just remembered about this thread! Liking everyone's progress, here's what I've painted bones-wise since those couple of fighters a few pages back:

Way back in October 2015 was this big bozo. I kinda love the 'dog hanging head out of a moving car' expression he has.

December 2015 included a Mimic amongst the treasure I was painting for Frostgrave. I need to write up a proper scenario but we sometimes use it as a trap

February 2016 was this guy, turquoise armour in honour of Shovel Knight (I was playing it around then)

In March 2016 my FG Wizard learned Animal Companion so I needed a bear, this guy fit the bill quite well!

July 2016 was this big fellow, my first Bones of Oath season 7

August 2016 included Grignak here, a good Granite Golem for Frostgrave

September was this Griffon, the integral base got trimmed a bit to fit on a standard 40mm square for WHFB in case I ever play it again.

October included these monsters (mix of big ghoul and golems) for my undead.

October also included the other Golems from Bones 1

Followed in November by this Tree dude, I was on a roll with the big(ish) guys!

January 2017 wrought wintery doom with these frost giants and their pet snow troll (Heresy Miniatures)

February featured the Hydra (based on real life snake colouring) and a squad of IMEF for Rogue Stars

And March brings us up to date with this selection of adventurers from our current D&D campaign (technically the Dragonborn guy isn't Bones but he is still Reaper).

All in all I've been having fun painting and I'm getting closer to maybe having half of Bones 1 painted just in time for Bones 3 to arrive!

    Great output!

The only question is, will we be fast enough to have Bones I & II painted before III strikes later this year. . .

Re: The Boneyard ... (A place for everyones Reaper 'Bones' miniatures)

And because Warseer seems to have a bit of a slow news week, here's a shameless crosspost of my Bones from my random thread over here:

as you can see, I went for boring vanilla granite grey with the golem - doing something interesting and different like Zark (the damned)'s sandstone simply didn't cross my mind . . .

For some reason I feel as though I've commented on that golem before... however that is really nice work, I especially like his skirt (or whatever). The dragon reminds me of the classic Larry Elmore D&D art from back in the day.
