For scale it's standing on an upturned GW water pot.

I hope I don't have to wait too long, because if everything goes well, I'm looking on a two months holidays starting next tuesday (if everything doesn't go well, receiving my bones will be the last of my worries on the other hand >_>)

Well I assuming all the Vampire+Cases+Paint+Extra vampire minis have all gone out, so I'd say if you swapped sofie out for small add-ons you should be soon. If you got Cthulu or a Dragon, not so much I'd say

I replaced Sophie with the hydra and the three dryder things. Nothing too fancy, I'd like to believe.

    Practical chiropracty for Bones

It is highly likely that at some point if you buy enough bones miniatures one of them will turn up a little bent or squished out of shape. If this is a whole arm (limb/tentacle) they maybe you can just accept this as being an alternate pose but for wonky weapons the effect is less desirable - fear not, the fix is easy. Simply dip the affected part of the miniature into a mug of near boiling water for a few seconds (*) and then run the miniature under cold water.

Both miniatures I have tried this with so far just popped back to their intended shape without any need for bending or repositioning.

    * - the exact length of time required will depend on how thick the bent part of the miniature is, about 5 seconds should be sufficient for a sword.

That's very good to know, thank you With that kind of manipulation, I'm always worried about ruining either the mini or my fingers

    I call him Boris.

For some reason my daughters don't like him.

Boris has been joined by two more friends, an ogre and a bugbear.

I now have just three more unpainted bones minis in my collection - looks like I should be able to get them all painted before the KickStarter stuff arrives.

I've left it a little late, but I've been working on the non-KS Bones.

Here's the first one, a Werewolf:-

And just before this thread becomes swamped with everybodys KS Bones, I've finished a Minotaur:-

Really happy with how this one turned out.

That minotaur looks great! My painting skills are quite rusty so I won't be flooding the thread any time soon. Fortunately, this KS gives me plenty of minis to practice on. I'm really looking forward to seeing what folks do with the large pieces.

I did paint a Worm though:-
