Necromunda vending machine, that looks great (although I agree it is a little small).

    Power up with "Scavvy-Cola"

    Re: 3d modelling bits

I've increased the height a bit (it's now 37.5mm tall) so you can actually stand behind it for cover:

Big challenge will be to hollow this bugger out because otherwise it will be quite expensive on Shapeways at least. But personally I'd really love to have this cast...

If that's a fridge I'm sure the skulls are a good deterrent from nightly raids.

Nice 3d-modelling work, particularly the vending machine.

Got distracted by some buzz weapons...

Sort of meant as two handed power tools, but I imagined it mostly being converted into a single hand weapon, the back handle/trigger would be cut off, the weapon slung underneath the lowerarm, kinda like these by Kari Hernesniemi from Spiky Rat Pack.

Started working on a 'smaller' weapon. It's basically a bionic chainsaw. This bit basically replaces the users hand and about half of the lower arm:

This is yet another nasty tool. I guess normally some sort of clawing device used for whatever industrial or agricultural role. Still needs a lot of work.

    Re: 3d modelling bits

Little by little I'm getting there:

Slowly started working on the body, it still needs a lot of work, even this little part of the body will have all sorts of details such as tubings/wires/etc running through it. Tried to do it yesterday, but everything went wrong, had a bad day I guess. I'll try to continue on this during the week.

I've been rather worried about undercuts, however...it makes me wonder how cavalry models and such are normally done. I mean, it seems Ed from Troll Forged Miniatures has cast his hound as a single piece model, so on theory this shouldn't be possible. I already posted a comment on Ed's Facebook regarding this, so hopefully he'll be able to give me some other insights on this.

Hey malika, it's AtmanAbecedarian. Decided I needed a new name

Just gotta say its awesome to see you still at work. These renderings look great and I'm really happy to hear you're getting noticed for your talent. The close combat weapons look excellent, and I'm really excited to see that cyber-hound come together. I would definitely purchase one

    Cheers my friend

Hey, I was wondering whatever happened to you, missed your crazy stuff! Are you working on any new projects?

Awesome to hear you like my stuff, I might have found a producer interested in doing some of the bits I've been working on. The hounds are something I'd like to keep with Troll Forged, but not 100% sure yet on how that'll go.

    Re: 3d modelling bits

Yeah I took a hiatus but as usual I'm back on the 40k kick. I have a log over in the General 40k thread (The Sons of Amar), it's an adaptation of my Threads of Fate project with a focus on both 40k and 28mm =][=. Slightly altered plot but same premise.

I hope things work out with your potential producer. Ork and Chaos armies would look awesome wielding those huge buzz saws. But I definitely want to see that hound come together. It would be an awesome addition to my current project. Can't wait for some more progress

Yeah, we missed you on the Troll Forged forums as well, I still have that Org picture you made hanging at my office!

That hound will be totally insane, we've already started some background discussions on them.

You mean this is on your wall??

That made my day. Seriously. Always thought my random doodles only hung around my work desk

I will have to read through that discussion more. I took a peak at a bit yesterday that I saw on DakkaDakka. The 'Terramorph' (is that correct?) concept sounded awesome. I would love to contribute to Troll Forged again. Would need to get caught up on the projects but I remember it was a lot of fun over there.

Yup! It's just printed on an A4, you should still one day do a more 'final' version of it, I'd imagine it would be a pretty amazing poster!

By the way, here a tiny update on the hounds. Nothing big yet, just added some tubings/pipes to their front bodies:

I just had an idea for doing a big cyber hound after seeing someone's Iron Warriors Decimator just a few minutes ago and now I see you've already been working on something just like that!! These look really excellent so far, very cool indeed.

    Re: 3d modelling bits

Been a bit drained from the ships, as in that I need to get my mojo again. In the meantime I delved back into the 28mm scaled universe. First up the vending machine, which will be test printed in the coming days!

The 28mm madness continues. Besides the vending machine I've been wanting to make some more post-apocalyptic scifi/fantasy terrain.

    Barricades!

    Re: 3d modelling bits

Hmm, maybe a bit of a far fetched idea, but what if I stick to having the barricades 'clean', so no spikes, fences, pipes, bits etc. But then have like 'goodie bags' filled with spikes, plates, etc. to make them more post-apocalyptic if wanted. I'd imagine such a goodie bag could also be used for other stuff like buildings, vehicles, armour on models, etc.

Finally got back at this little thing...

And yes, there's a new member to the family...

I guess it's some sort of sniffer/hunter creature, shooting it's prey, after which the rest of the pack will tear it to shreds.
